Privacy Policy
Last updated October 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Req4Me ("Req4Me," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use any Req4Me app for Fanvue creators (the "Service"), including Ask My Fans.
You access the Service by signing in through your Fanvue account. This policy covers the data involved in doing that. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@req4.me.
Information we collect
Account and identity data. When you sign in through Fanvue, we receive the account identifiers Fanvue shares with us — your Fanvue user ID, handle, display name, and plan status. We never receive or store your Fanvue password.
Content you create. The polls you ask, the feed poll posts you publish, templates, list names, follow-up messages, and your recent post captions, which we read to match your own tone when generating suggestions.
Your vault media. Your Fanvue vault media, including the files themselves, previews, file names, captions, and folders. We use it so you can pick photos and videos for your posts and messages, and to develop, test, and improve features — for example, understanding what your content is about to personalize suggestions. We may keep the items you attach, along with copies or information derived from your media (such as a description of what it shows), for as long as needed for those purposes.
Fan replies. On your behalf, the Fanvue user ID, handle, display name, top-spender status, whether they have bought from you before, and the reply or comment text of fans who answer an open poll, and which list a fan ends up in.
Usage data. Aggregated account activity, such as your current subscriber total, used only to decide which poll suggestions, if any, are worth showing you — never individual fan-level detail.
Support data. Anything you send us directly, such as a problem report or feature request.
How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- run each app and your account;
- send the poll messages and follow-up messages you choose, and publish the feed poll posts you create — including updating a feed poll's caption with a running count of answers while it's open, and updating or unpinning it when you close it, if you choose to;
- attach the vault photos and videos you pick to your posts and messages;
- sort and theme fan replies and comments, and build the Fanvue lists you ask for;
- suggest and personalize poll wording in your own voice;
- provide support and respond to your requests;
- keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms; and
- develop, test, and improve the Service, including new and experimental features such as personalized suggestions, using your content and media where a feature needs it. We never use your data to train AI models.
Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR). We rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service); our legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve the Service); your consent, where required; and compliance with legal obligations. Fan data is processed on your instructions as the creator — for that data, we act as your processor, not the controller.
AI processing and third-party providers
Sorting and theming fan replies and comments, and suggesting or personalizing poll wording, requires sending some of the data above to a third-party AI provider that processes it on our behalf (a "subprocessor"). Neither Req4Me nor our AI providers use your data, your media, or your fans' data to train AI models — we use providers' standard APIs, which don't train on data sent through them, and we never opt in to any training program. No fan names, handles, or IDs are sent — only the content needed to produce a result.
Some features, including ones we're developing or testing, send your content to an AI provider to understand it and personalize the Service. This can include your vault media (images, video, or audio) and your post captions. The same protections apply to media as to text.
Sharing your data
We share personal data only with: our subprocessors below, under contract and on our instructions; Fanvue, as needed to operate the integration and any features you use; authorities or third parties where required by law or to protect rights and safety; and a successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
- Vercel — hosting — United States
- Amazon Web Services — database — United States
- A third-party AI provider — AI processing — United States
International transfers
Where personal data leaves the EU or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, with our subprocessors.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as reasonably useful to run the service, including to restore your history if you reinstall, maintain backups, and meet legal obligations. Uninstalling an app on its own does not automatically delete your data, so your history is ready for you if you come back.
You can ask us to fully delete your data at any time — email hello@req4.me and we'll complete it within 7 days. This removes your polls, saved replies, results, settings, and our stored connection to your Fanvue account. Anything already created on Fanvue from inside an app — lists, posts, and messages you sent — stays in your Fanvue account. We only delete our own copy of your data, never anything on Fanvue's side. We may keep what's needed to meet a legal obligation, such as financial records, even after a deletion request.
Security
We use technical measures to protect personal data, including HTTPS everywhere, encryption of connection tokens at rest, access controls, and requesting only the Fanvue permissions each app needs. We never log tokens or personal data.
If you believe you've found a security vulnerability, please report it to hello@req4.me — report responsibly and give us a reasonable time to address it before disclosing it publicly. See /.well-known/security.txt for the machine-readable version of this contact.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your data, to receive it in a portable format, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. If California law applies to you, you have the right to know what we collect, delete it, correct it, and limit the use of sensitive personal information. To exercise any of these rights — including if you're located in the EU or UK — contact hello@req4.me. Fans can contact the creator they're messaging with, or contact us directly.
Age of users
The Service is for adults only (18+) and is not directed to anyone under 18. Access requires signing in through Fanvue, which requires its own identity verification — this is how age is assured. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Cookies
This website counts page visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It does not use cookies, and it does not record your name or account: only the page opened, the type of browser, and the country, so we can see which pages people use. The Ask My Fans app's visit counts are kept separate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy at any time. We'll post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date, and provide additional notice where required.

| Group | Data | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Creator | Fanvue user ID, handle, display name, plan status | Sign-in, account, plan limits |
| Creator content | Poll questions and answers, templates, list names, recent post captions (read for tone), feed poll posts, follow-up messages, vault media (files, previews, names, captions, folders) | Running polls, attaching media, personalizing wording and suggestions in your own voice, and developing and testing new features |
| Account activity | Aggregated counts only (e.g. current subscriber total, new or expiring subscriptions) — never individual fan-level detail | Deciding which poll suggestions, if any, are relevant enough to show you |
| Fans | Fanvue user ID, handle, display name, top-spender status, whether they have bought from you before, text of replies to an open poll (first few messages within the poll's window), comments on a feed poll post, list membership | Sorting replies, building lists the creator asks for |
| Support | Problem reports and feature requests | Support and improvement |
Sent to an AI provider: The text of fan replies to an open poll and comments on a feed poll, creator-written poll text, your recent post captions (for tone), and aggregated account counts (like your subscriber total) are sent to our AI provider to sort and theme replies, and to suggest and personalize poll wording in your voice. Your vault media may also be sent when a feature uses it to understand your content, including features we're testing. No fan names, handles, or IDs are sent, and none of it is used to train AI models.
